About the Role

Ellison Grey Concierge Services is looking for a polished, professional Student Services Receptionists in Derby, DE1 to join a prestigious site in Canary Wharf on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and a warm, guest-focused attitude to represent a leading building and its occupiers.

As the first point of contact for visitors, tenants, and guests, you will set the tone for every interaction — greeting people with confidence, managing front desk operations smoothly, and ensuring the reception area reflects the highest standards of service expected in a premium London environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warmly greet and check in all visitors, guests, and contractors
Manage incoming calls, emails, and general reception enquiries
Issue visitor passes and maintain accurate sign-in records
Coordinate with building management and security teams
Book meeting rooms and manage front-of-house diary requests
Keep the reception and front of house area presentable at all times
Support ad-hoc concierge and administrative tasks as required

What We’re Looking For

Previous front of house, reception, or concierge experience preferred
Immaculate personal presentation and professional manner
Confident telephone manner and strong written English
Comfortable using visitor management and booking systems
Reliable, punctual, and able to start work immediately
Right to work in the UK
